...except for the Cowboy game of course!

The Cowboys are on FOX, but neither ABC, NBC, or ESPN are showing the NFL. Seems weird since there are so many games going on today. Hubby wanted to watch the Minnesota game, but he was out of luck

ESPN = Monday night foobtall
NBC = Sunday night football
ABC = idiots for putting Monday night fooball on ESPN
CBS = should have games later in the day

DirecTV = Sunday ticket, every game possible.

I'll try to explain.

The Cowboys played the early game on FOX. Here in the home region, you usually cannot have another game up against the home game. If the Cowboys were playing on the road this week, there would have been a CBS early game as well, likely Miami at Minn. It's one of the NFL's archaic rules related to blackouts and such.

But you can avoid that with NFL Sunday Ticket, on DirecTV.

There are also websites that let you watch various games. Of course the quality isn't that great but its better than nothing.

Hahaha! We both watched! Still too hot for much gardening today...I am ready for cooler weather.

And nope, no refusal. He just knows that I'm a control freak about my flowerbeds. I do the gardening in regards to the flowers and shrubs, and he does the mowing, edging, etc. Ya know, the brute force stuff
But creating new beds (killing the grass, removing many oversized shrubs and bushes, tilling, admending the soil, etc) is just a lot of work for either/both of us and we don't have that time during the week. We prefer to spend time together as a family on the weekends...hence, the reason we are considering hiring a landscaper to do the prep work.
