This thread is awesome. I'd like to ask the co$t of physically moving my family of 5 from Yorba Linda CA. to the N. Dallas area? Our house is @ 2,800 square feet & have been out here since 1987 & will look for the same or smaller. We'll lease to own by the way.
Should I just pick up the phone & call Mayflower or do you know where to get valid quotes as I haven't moved since being out here. What other ancillary cost should I keep in mind?
My company plans on taking care of moving my family & asked me to gather costs.
Thank you much for your reply.
Returning TEXAN!

FYI: "Lease to own" laws in Texas have changed recently.....very difficult to do now. You need to check on on the details before making any definite plans for doing that.

Lease houses are in high demand right now....when a nice one goes on the market it doesn't last long. And many are never even publicly listed....realtors who specialize in leasing just keep lists and match up the lookers with the leasers.

PS... Welcome home!!!
