Bishop Arts District: Early 20th century shopping district revitalized over the last decade. Artsy & bohemian. Numerous non-chain restaurants, vintage shops, art galleries located in historic neighborhood just a couple miles SW of Downtown Dallas. Bishop Arts District :: Home

NorthPark Center: The term shopping center does not do this place justice. It's a temple of luxury retail with numerous restaurants and 15 screen AMC theater. NorthPark Center - The Premier Shopping and Dining Center in Dallas

Deep Ellum: Early 20th century warehouse district just east of Downtown. Now a premier location for live music, eclectic bars, restaurants, shops & galleries. Deep Ellum - Dallas, Texas

Knox-Henderson: Commercial street 2 miles north of Downtown, crosses Central Expressway (US75). The west side is called Knox Street and has the more upscale, albeit conventional, stores along with many restaurants (mostly non-chain). The east side is called Henderson Ave. and has many more restaurants (almost all non-chain), bars, antique shops and interesting shops. Knox/Henderson Guide on Citysearch®
