Hey, I went to Breckenridge Park this February and there are some great swimming parts surprisingly. The water looked pretty tasty, lol! Of course, I dont know what your preferences on water purity are, but I think they look swimmable. Here are some pictures:

Do people swim in the spring creek area of Plano?? I have seen sewer lids on the bottom of the creek, do they really use that beautiful creek for sewer????!!!! If so what a shame it would be nice to jump in.

DFW doesnt have any nice swimming holes. Some of the lakes have beaches where you can swim. If you want nice natural swimming areas you need to drive 2-5 hours out of town. There are plenty of nice rivers to swim in in the hill country. South Llano state park is one of my favorites.

Also the blanco river, Guadalupe river, and Frio River are really nice rivers to swim in with clean clear water.

I am impressed. I would not think you could find such a place near Dallas. Thanks
