Does anyone know where you can shoot off fireworks in the Dallas/Ft Worth Area? Specifically somewhere close to Grapevine. Thanks in advance

Only outside of ANY City Limits. No city around here allows ANY fireworks even IN the city so if you buy them, put them in your car and cross over into city limits the police CAN stop you and fine you. Outside of the city limits you can only do it if there is no burn ban and right now w/ the wind I'd HIGHLY advise you to NOT set off ANY fireworks under those circumstances and start a fire. We are in a drought right now and things are dry and the winds are higher today. Go watch the fireworks at one of the events where they are being put on in a controlled setting.

I know that you are right Mom but having just spent three days knee deep in mud on my construction site in Lake Highlands it seems improbable to start a fire outside....

Nowhere near Grapevine. It is illegal to posess fireworks in Grapevine, and shooting them off will only summon police to your location. You can try heading west past Texas Motor Speedway into Wise County and see if any of the fireworks stands out there will allow you to shoot your fireworks in their parking lot.
