(and no, it is not for weight).

Head down to The Dairyette on Ferguson or Keller's for a hamburger tonight. They are both really good. Prefer Dairyette's fries over Keller's though. Oh, and Dairyette has homemade root beer
Either of these are about as close as your going to get to a good old burger in Dallas.

I have tried...still can't kill the craving......I have a severe diet restriction too...but I can allow myself a give sometime.....just wish it wasn't until Spring time....

Well, I couldn't eat 3/4 of any of that to start with. I prefer just a single w/ cheese and fries (none animal style). If I'm good maybe I could eat a lil bit and be fine....... otherwise

I don't know, I can't get myself to eat at a place called Dairyette, phonetically, it sounds too much like derriere.

One bite of that burger is all it takes and I'm sold. They could name the place "Manure Pile" and I'd still eat that tasty burger.

Sorry to hear that- I have to lower my Triglycerides and Cholesterol quickly and I am not overweight. Kind of scary....I am trying.....but that In-N-Out Double Double will be my "Goal" treat for doing good.

I'm all good on that front. Actually with most tests and by looking at me I'm the picture perfect of being healthy. I had asthma kick in a year ago March so bad that I ended up in the ER 3 times. Then 6 months ago told I had pretty bad acid reflux (that I still didn't think I had ANY symptoms of ANY kind of heartburn, strange still don't) - did not know that acid reflux can trigger asthma. I'm on the strongest stuff for everything and got cleared by the ENT today but head to the gastro doc next week for a full scope and most likely have something wrong w/ my esophagus. So there are a WHOLE LOT of foods that are OUT for me That is, if I want to breath and also not end up w/ esophagus cancer. CRAZY stuff for sure.

Maybe I can have HALF of a very small In-n-Out cheeseburger............please

Mmmm....The Dairyette. I always drive by and have serious cravings for what I think is the best burger in Dallas. And then I realize I'm not carrying cash. Modernize a little, people!

As far as In-N-Out goes, I've never had it. I've heard great things though and can't wait to see if it's better than all these other out-of-state burger joints that are popping up like Carls, Jr.

My mother used to take us for a rootbeer at the Dairyette when we went to see Dr.Jenkins next door. Ohh those icy mugs.

Good luck on your doctor visit mom!

My sister and I were complaining about how when you get older you can't sleep, can't drink, can't smoke, and can't eat the foods you enjoy (among other things). What is the reward of getting older?
