Your four post response sums it up.

You're dead wrong on this. It takes me less than half the time to get to a Dart station, park and get downtown than it does for me to drive. And I live at Beltline and the Tollway

I know right. That's what the edit feature is for.

Like I said, depends on what side of Plano you live on and where you work. Why don't you explain to me why DART ridership is so low for the amount of miles of track it has, since you know all about light rail.

@hamiltonpl, that's denser to Uptown to you? Looks about the same to me. People don't often venture to that side of 35 (or at least it is not as heard of). A lot of stuff going on it seems.
It seemed to me mm4 is trying to suggest that the rail merely serves the outskirts of destination instead going through them. Of course, this goes with the fact of DART's less than stellar alignment so I was confused to why mm4 would say something negative about DART.

This is also false...My best friend lives over there and there is a ton of street life. Not so much retail or food, but trust me, people are there and on the streets

Honestly, DART is in a good position to make changes to get on the right path but it seriously needs to slow down and improve what it is has.

DART can't get people to ride it and METRO can't get it built.

You just try to find anything in my post to disagree with and call "false". What part of my post was false? Is the Design District even has heard of as say, VP or Uptown? Nope. I actually gave it a compliment at the end of my post. You're just real nitpicky.

I can agree with this. All Dallas really has to do is build some streetcar lines to connect the dots between the light rail lines. As for Metro, as long as they get the Inner Loop lines built and build them right (overpasses at busy streets, more crossing guards, etc.), then I think Metro will take off.

Yeah, I've worked in Uptown for a decade -- I know the place.

On the ground, the Design District is denser. They've done a much better job at hiding the parking lots and putting in good sidewalks. Some parts of Uptown feel completely suburban to me. Design District is all urban.

Go check it out for yourself.
