Love cooking and eating fish. Unfortunately, DFW is not on a coast and it is hard to find fresh, reasonably priced fish.

Tired of the Walmart variety from China (i.e. farmed Tilapia).

Some of the Vietnamese stores and H-Mart have a good inventory of fish.

Anyone have luck with any other fish markets in the area?

The Fish Shack up in Plano off of 15th and 75 is a great "non chain" fish restaurant.

Hopefully someone else can give you more direction for sourcing fresh fish to cook with. My wife typically goes to Whole Foods, but that could just be perception, who knows? I'm not an expert, but I eat it when she puts it in front of me.

Rex's is a great cafe & fish market on West Lovers Lane, just west of Inwood.

For farmed Salmon, Costco has the best one.
