From the man himself who was instrumental in bringing this years Super Bowl to North Texas.

There are always critics (especially in the media), Dale is almost always critical of just about anything having to do with Jerry.

Considering the weather, the crowd, the media and all the craziness I thought it went off very well.

The game itself was mediocre at best & so boring I gave up watching it after the half. On a scale of 1-10 I'd give the whole week leading up to, & game day itself a 1...that's being generous. I've seen MUCH better Super Bowls in my lifetime, but can't say I've seen any as poorly executed as this one.

Between potentially deadly injuries from falling ice, canceled events, thousands of angry seatless ticket holders, & a botched national anthem I would say things couldn't have gone any worse for Dallas/Arlington/North Texas.

The NFL is always going to remember this. Sorry to say, but Dallas won't be hosting anymore Super Bowls.

One thing to remember in life Matt, is that people have extremely short memories. That's why we have kid number 2 and go eat at Poncho's Mexican Food every year or so.
The bad memories fade quickly and the good ones stick with us.

That was a freaky storm that hit, 2nd to the one in 1983/84 that lasted 2 weeks.

The NFL will be back. That is one of the most incredible stadiums in the world. (and I don't like Jerry)

You are really starting to get on my nerves. Just about every thread you make is about bashing Dallas. When will you get tired?

Its all what you make of it.

I had friends in town for the game who had the time of their life partying in Dallas in the days leading up to it, Uptown Dallas was crazy busy even with the bad weather, and lots of people still left with good memories.

Will Dallas host another Super Bowl? In the next 5-10 years, probably not. But to say they wont be hosting another is just the homer in you speaking, Matt.

The game may have started off boring, but it got pretty good from just before half on to the end. Too bad Pittsburgh couldn't do anything on their last drive to make it even better.
