Don't do it. Not gonna happen. If you're working some semblance of daytime hours, you're going to wind up in a traffic jam somewhere around downtown Dallas. I've been inbound on I35 from Irving (same highway you would use exiting the toll road) and everyday day the traffic stopped from downtown to OakLawn, my exit. It's just a major cluster with drivers needing to move across 5 or 6 lanes of traffic to continue their route, yours included.

There's a chance there may be an other tollroad built along the Trinity River to relieve some traffic, but that's only going to be over a lot of dead bodies.

I35 into downtown is by far the worst congestion. I generally avoid I-35 like the plague. It merges with 183/114 to crank up congestion, then in downtown goes through "the mix-master" another insane pile of spaghetti. Something needs to be done, that's for sure.

Central, while having heavy traffic, certainly isn't nearly as congested and stop-n-go. Central does have the DART running parallel to it and if you go to the park-n-ride stations, they are packed to the brim. I have to believe that this helps minimize congestion. They could double parking and fill it - I'm sure!
