Hey guys, I am moving from NYC with my family to Irving or the neighborhoods around there. What is a good clean neighborhood that has good high schools and elementary schools. I will be attending either UTdallas or UTarlington. Also what are some areas to avoid if there are any bad neighborhoods there. I know someone who lives in irving in Terra bella, and I am going to visit them for a couple of days and pick out an apartment, so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as I want to look up apartments now and than go check them out once I get there.

I've always wondered why they named those apartments Terrible,

Here's a link to help you find schools in the area on a map by ratings. You have to select the school district to find the schools on the map. Parts of Irving are served by Irving School District, also Coppell School District and also Carrollton Farmers Branch School District. So you'll need to select each of those districts to find schools in Irving. Irving high school is rated Recognized in the Irving School District however MacArthur HS is considered the school that serves the more affluent kids in that ISD (however really wealthy families that live in the Irving ISD send their kids to private schools). The high school in the Coppell ISD is very highly regarded.

BTW, I am attaching a link to apartments in North Euless that are quite reasonably priced and served by top notch schools (Grapevine/Colleyville ISD) and wouldn't be far from your friends at the terra-bella apartments. Your friends live on Walnut Hill near Belt Line; this is about 10 minutes west of them and lightyears ahead in terms of the schools and area.....
