hello folks, here is the question:
Is there any ragga/soca night club/ event in Dallas-fortworth metroplex?
I plan on moving here & i will die if i do not find y ragga vibe...
Or if all "black" club are hip hop / RnB...

...lol...prepare to die then...lol...(joking)....its here but not like it is on the EAST/WEST coast. The only place I have been is Jamaica Gates in Arlington...but Im sure there are other venues...Happy looking!

There's a place called Heroes on Greenville Ave as well.

There used to be a cool place called Royal Rack on lower Greenville. but I don't know if it still exists- haven't been there in many years. There is a reggae festival in Fair Park every year that's pretty cool.

Dallas-Fort Worth 'black' club music = Southern Rap (alot of Texas and Atlanta rappers), R&B and some Jazz/Blues.

Found this link via a google search via a myspace.

unaware of any Reggae or Soca type of dance clubs though.

TRINITY RIVER SPORTS CAFE/Palm Beach Club

DJ Curtis G spinning Reggae all nite every Friday nite @ the all new Trinity River Sports Cafe/PalmBeachClub the all new spot located @ 5214 S. Lamar St.

Just found a website- dallasreggae.com. Apparently Heroes Sport Bar has some reggae goings-on
Look forward to it next time I come home for a visit! God knows there's nothing at all black about Portland OR
