Hey Guys,

need your help again.

I'm looking to buy in the Greenway Park area.

The place seems great, there's that little shopping center with Inwood theater.

Is this area nice? Is it safe to run out in?

Any tips or information would be fantastic!

Thanks

I like that area too! Yes, it's a very nice area and safe to run in. Great shopping center to walk over to and hang out. I would not jog too far west of Inwood Road that's south of Lover's Lane, that's my only tip.

Yes, it's incredibly safe and well-maintained. Strong neighborhood association which pays for extra police patrolling 24 hours per day. Sought after for location & unique appeal of the "greenways." terrible schools though, so 100% of families choose private. Definitely a GREAT buy!

A condo inspection will run about $200. Not sure about mold.

Are you looking at the ones on Greenway Blvd behind Inwood Village? Have had several girlfriends own there until they married. Great property, usually sell quickly unless it's an assessment period. My last friend to sell got an all-cash, asking price offer in the 1st week on the market.

WOW nice. ya im looking near that area, its not right behind inwood village tho i dont think. not sure tho.

Any recommendations on who to call for inspections? google didnt really show promising results.

my mother suggested that we get our own instead of using the one the sellers suggested.

THANKS so much for your help TC80

I can't remember the inspector I used. Your realtor should be able to give a few suggestions for you. Don't use the one the sellers suggest.

I know somebody who lives in an Inwood Crossroads condo, they love it. Good luck.
