It seems like we have been dealing with heavy gusts for more than a month. What's up with that?

I know in July we'll be begging for breezes, but geez ...is this Dallas or Chicago?

Seems like we never achieve truly pleasant weather around here, do we?

I agree, when it is cooler we tend to have heavy breezes, but in the middle of summer, it's always dead calm!

It's like this all over Texas and I'm sure some of the outlying states in the region. < Yes.

I grew up hearing about how March is 'In like a lion, out like a lamb', with reference to the wind. I realize we're well beyond March and I'm looking forward to the arrival of the lamb. Maybe Easter?

Just no hijabs, please.

We moved to Haslet, TX during the January storms. Brought a truck of potted and pampered Japanese maples with us. Some 15 years with us. They are temporarily on a patio, surrounded by a solid fence. Monday the storm toppled three 300+ pound pots into each other:>(((
Will I be responsible for property taxes on the open field next door which blew into the house? Well, so far TX has not been very kind. I feel like I am living in a wind tunnel.

The wind can go away if we can go back to some cool temperatures.

It gets to me too, especially with the pollen blowing around, but I'll take this over that last cold snap we had a couple of weeks ago.

Just HATE IT!! would any time rather have cold and calm. But it does a pretty good job blow drying my hair. Wash hair, walk dogs, style hair......that's the routine many days!

I love the wind! Running is so much more fun with the wind.

I hope it stays for the summer!

hate the wind--worse than Corpus--which was the only town I told my husband I would not relocate to if he had to move for his job--that and Lubbock are horrible to me for their constant strong winds
