If I have to drive to Ft Worth might as well go to the BX at Naval Air Station

I hate organic healthy crap but love Trader Joes. Nice on my wallet, frozen foods are awesome, CHEAP (but also great) beer and wine, great snacks (not much selection but what they do have is great, especially the granola bars)

You won't have to wait long before they are all over DFW.

I don't know, maybe it's me and the fact I have a litter of kids...But Trader Joes generally stinks for a family larger than two!

Only thing I have ever found them useful for is wine..Otherwise the place doesn't appeal to someone with a family as big as mine. Texas has much better options for markets than Trader Joes anyway.

My brother and his wife have 2 kids and shop there regularly. They also shop at Vons and Costco.

We have lots of great options here in Dallas, but there is always room for another business with a good business plan. When I have a convenient TJ's, I'll probably go there 1-2 times a month and stock up on the speciality items I can only get there, or that I can get there at a much better deal than Tom Thumb. I'll continue to go to Costco about once a month, and Sprouts or TT weekly, depending what I need.

I could definitely see that being true for someone with kids. It's awesome for couples and single people though!
