My previous employer is appealing the ruling for benefits that the TWC has been paying for since March. I know the employer has a right to appeal, yet I am wondering if I have to do anything to plead my case. I have been sent the paperwork and I am assuming that I can use it as a guide. I was terminated for supposed sexual harrasment and apprehension of a shoplifter. Is there something that I should be doing to prepare for this and how should this be done. I want to be prepared the false info that has blindsided me. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Ensure to send in your appeal paperwork on time with any
supporting documentation.

Write down your notes in preparation for your appeal.
You will be notified when your appeal will take place.
Appeals are usually one hour.
The outcome will be decide and you will get a letter in the mail.
You have a second opportunity to appeal if you do not agree with
the appeal outcome.

Do your homework to prepare for your appeal:
