Let me tell you what it's like to ride a motorcycle in Dallas. My commute is mostly on Walnut Hill and there are a couple of places where my bike leaves the road. If I see the bump coming, I'll stand up and ramp it like on a dirt bike. If I'm paying more attention to traffic around me, it throws me off the seat. And then there are the cracks that run down the length of the road. These are worse because you have to hit them at a very acute angle and hope your tires don't slide out from under you. I think I would be better off on my dirt bike. For that matter, I'd be better off on my dirt bike riding through people's yards instead of the streets.
