We may just screw around, denying permits and other foot dragging, long enough for this oil play to render our local gas plays substantially moot.
Nice job whiners.

Thanks, I was working the Austin Chalk play in the same area from Giddings, Dilly, to Catarina. In fact I stayed at the Catarina Hotel - great pies. It has been abandoned since I was down there. Google street view shows it in horrible disrepair - pretty sad. Hopefully this will revitalize the area.

I've been reading a lot about Eagle Ford in recent months. This is great news for Texas in general and South Texas in particular. I saw something the other day that estimated this will mean 4,200 jobs just for San Antonio !
You people in Texas have the right idea - let the petro industry do it's thing and explore and produce petro while up north and out west they cut off access to mineral prospects and therefor choke off growth in their economies. Tree-huggers are the most selfish members of our soceity.
