Kind of late posting this, but still wanted to bring it up here. On last Sunday, better known as Memorial Day...

Bikers' takeover of Dallas highway spurs concern | wfaa.com Dallas - Fort Worth

If only the Dallas Police had had an Apache to use on those thugs... one minute and traffic on Central would be restored again.

Always a few idiots that have to screw it up for everyone else. If DPD REALLY wanted to do something, they'd crack down on the tuner shops & other bike shops to identify the idiots.

They use 75 as a drag strip late at night. If I go out for a smoke at 3am, especially on a weekend night, I can hear crotch rockets zooming up and down Central. It's so obnoxious.

Kinda like what Jerry Reed did to the bikers that beat him up in Smokey and the Bandit?

Exactly. If DPD was really serious, they know what's going on and where, they'd put a stop PDQ to it.

The only reason they're doing something now, is they're embarrassed and are trying to spin the story into a crackdown. Two weeks from now, we'll see.

This is a pretty good way to get shot, BTW. People love it when you try to kill them with your vehicle I've heard.

Seems a ridiculous way to honor a fallen rider...by putting other motorists' lives at risk
