I'm an avid basketball player and since moving to Lake Highlands back in April I haven't been able to find a good place to play. I just read that LA Fitness has courts, but I'm sure they're pretty expensive. Anyone know of places to play around here?

Thanks!

Have you checked out the LH YMCA? Home Page - Main YMCA

Also, the Highlands North Recreation Center on Church and White Rock Trail should have courts, too.

Good luck!

I think White Rock Athletic Club has an indoor court.

I don't know if the Dedman Center at SMU allows memberships to those not associated with SMU, but you might call to ask.

I've tried the Dedman Center before, but it was pretty empty (not to mention pricey). The North Rec Center looks to only be about $15/yr. That's a great deal. I'll look into it. Thanks!

The Y will do financial assistance, if you need it. It might not hurt to check it out!
