What would be the cheapest way for me to get my stuff from Dallas to Chicago?

UHaul?
I drive a 2 door Honda Accord, is it possible to tow a trailor with a car so small??

I'm no expert, but I think you can rent a large U-Haul box truck that can haul your Honda behind it. Google something about moving cheap and you might get some good stuff.
Good luck! Moving is a pain; we're doing it in a week ourselves.

Use Budget truck rental, they will rent you a truck and trailer for your car...DO NOT USE U-HAUL...Their trucks are old and beat...never maintained..
I rent trucks a lot for my work, Budget or maybe Penske Only those 2 ever

If I remember correctly U-haul will only rent out the bigger Trucks, the 24 ft. truck to go
across the state line or use towing hitches. These are the truck's you can hook up one of the different types of car hauler.
The tow by wheel or piggy back trailer.
The only difference u-haul has is the extra space over the cab and the lower profile for easier
loading rather than the box truck with the lift.
I agree that they tend to try to give you a old truck unless you make a special request.

I am somewhat surprised you did not get a response to sell it all, drive down and start new.
Buy new or used furniture through craigslist or IKEA or any other venue.

Before renting a truck, I would check into PODS system (or something equivalent) where they drop off a container at your place, you pack it, lock it and they ship it to your destination. That way you don't have to worry about driving a rental truck + trailer for you car. I would even get quotes from a bunch of moving companies to see their costs vs moving via a rental truck.

thank you guys so much! Definitely checking into a PODS system! Im getting mostly new stuff but I dropped $1000 on a mattress last year and really dont wanna give that up. I also have some guitar equipment and a TON of clothes that would take years and years for me to be ever to afford again.

Haha! I'm going the opposite way! I'm getting put of these cold winters for good! But anyhow, Upack (offered by ABF) was way cheaper than Pods when I reserved it. Worth looking into!
