I'm looking for a restaurant/pub that has a good trivia quiz night. I don't drink that much so I would prefer a place that has good food.

I live in downtown dallas so heading out to the suburbs might be too far of a drive. Thanks in advance.

Buffalo Wild Wings is a cross between a sports bar and a restaurant. I usually go to the one off Beltline and the Tollway. I know they have those little hand held computerized trivia things, and some other games.

Not sure if White Rock Yacht Club is still around, but it is/was a cool place. They had a full bar and but also served pretty good grub.

No, no, no.

Go to the Tipperary Inn. Tipperary Inn Irish Pub & Restaurant Dallas TX

It is a great Irish Pub in East Dallas, just north of Downtown. Great food and fun trivia (on Tuesday nights). Oh, and the interior was completely imported from Dublin. You'll find plenty of real Irishmen and women in there too.

Every Tuesday night at The Old Monk on Henderson. Call them for the start time. Very good pub food, too. Awesome mussels.

I agree! We played trivia at the Tipp for a couple of years several years back. Fun and competitive! Fortunately, one of my friends knows pretty much everything so he carried our team although we all had categories that were all ours (mine was pop culture). Unfortunately, he earned a perfect score on the LSAT and is now at the UT law school. I went back earlier this year for Tuesday night trivia and it's the same.

I highly recommend that you check it out!

Didn't the D Magazine crew switch from The Old Monk to The Tipp?

I concur with the Tipp suggestion - they keep it moving too, which is nice.
