Thanks to all of you that helped us in our relocation from Seattle to Richardson. We are so glad we took your advice and did not rent the Wylie house. We are pleased with the Richardson place.

I have even gotten a call for a job interview. It was much sooner than I expected. Anyone know of a good daycare/preschool for my 4 year old?

Welcome to TX! I have no clue about daycare but I'm sure someone will be able to suggest something. Good luck on your job interview :-)

I have a 4 yr old in a Primrose school and have been satisfied so far. If choosing a Motessori, make sure that they are an Accredited Montessori school since a few Motessori schools in the area are not. Usually if they are not Accredited, they have deviated from the Motessori curriclulum/training.

I checked out both of those prior to the move and they were $1000 a month. Can't swing it. Other suggestions?

Can you tell me why you did not choose Wylie? We are thinking of Wylie as a possible area for our move...So far I havent heard any real negatives about it.

Try St. Mark, if you don't mind if you're not catholic nor christian.

Octopus Garden is in Richardson east of Central.
First United Methodist Church in Richardson offers childcare and is on Central between Arapaho and Belt Line.
