My wife and I just moved to Dallas (actually Irving) from Florida this week and we are just looking for cool people to hang out with that know cool places to go out. We are youger she is 21 and I'm 26. We just want to have a good time we are already getting a little stir crazy sitting home alone haha. We like to go out to bars and clubs and smoke hookah. If nothing else some suggestions of good places to go out would be nice. Thanks!

Hello and Welcome to Texas...ironically we're in Orlando right now lol

The wife an I are slightly older and really don't do he club thing. Now with that said, I would look into uptown Dallas on weekend nights...some here around McKenney and Lemon head towards down town...you have to take Cole from Lemon. Anyhow, it's it's kinda festive on week nights.

Lol...small world.

Another area to check out I guess is Elm ST (Deep Elmem). It's an area down town around 75/central. People has turned a lot of the old building into clubs...doesn't look much during the day but it comes to life on weekend nights.

I'm 25 and live in Las Colinas. The places to go out to here are limited to Cool River, Champs, and The Cellar. The younger crowd is at The Cellar. My roomate is from Tampa and I have family in Winter Garden.

Check out Uptown, especially McKinney Ave. Take the free trolley to various bars and restaurants:

Uptown Dallas - Main

The Knox-Henderson area, especially Henderson east of Central, especially the clubs Barcadia, Beauty Bar, J Blacks, Capitol Pub, and Slip Inn:

Knox-Henderson - Dallas Events, Hotels, Meetings, Shopping, Dining, and More! - VisitDallas.com

A resurgent Deep Ellum, east of downtown

Deep Ellum, Texas

No problem, but you should know that Dallas is best for nightlife. Do you live in an apartment community? The pool is always a good place to meet people in the summer.
