Um that is not my least favorite neighbor!!! We do like to give each other a hard time but most of that is teasing. There are a lot of ties between us.

Are you familiar with the old SWC rivalries? It's sort of like that.

Yeah, I was just giving you a hard time. Sales seem to be a little sluggish in my neighborhood in LH. I guess I am jealous that Lakewood is doing so well.

Well in the old days when everything in LH was new it was sort of the other way around. A lot of people whe grew up here bought homes up there when they got out of college.

I'm not going to say who my least-favorite neighbor is!

I hate that they lump Lewisville and Flower Mound together--it also looks like they lump everything south of Denton in there...Corinth, Lake Dallas, etc. That area is way too big to provide an accurate picture.

Yeah, lake Dallas is Well a mess, Corinth is a good suburb type area. I lived there 7 years, no problems other than traffic..........Denton has it's good and bad and Shady Shores is just a spot on the road really....

As the DMN reports, Dallas, Collin, and Tarrant Counties are broken up into the individual MLS areas. The outlying counties - like Denton Co- are just reported in total. It makes sense considering where the bulk of the DMN readers are.

East Dallas (area 12) has Far East Dallas and old South Dallas included. It would be interesting to see it broken down into three sections: the west side of the lake, the east side of the lake and South Dallas.

We live between Lovers and University and Skilman and Abrams. Once the neighborhood put up cameras crime has dropped dramatically. Also they bulldozed a lot of cheap apartments and replaced with expensive condo's.
