Anyone got any suggestions? I'm hoping a turn will help me to avoid buying rotors for at least another month or three.

Thanks

Modern rotors are not made as heavy as they used to be. It's all about making parts cheaper and lighter. More often than not you will find that there isn't enough excess metal to turn them and still be within spec. On the plus side replacements are usually not too expensive.

Oh I know, I've been down that road several times....I'm just hoping these truck rotors will be JUUUUUUUST thick enough......I just want to get the shake out of the truck for a few weeks if possible till I can scrounge up the change to get new rotors. I know they're like $30/ea, but that shows just about how tight I have to keep my wallet right now

I'm getting it looked at tomorrow. I'm about 80% sure they're going to say I need new ones, so I'll probably end up having to get them anyway. Never hurts to check
