Is there any website that lists the fines for violating water restrictions for local cities? Want to have an official site to forward to relatives. Not, well my coworker said he heard it was $500 for this city, or I see a report from 2006 that says it's $2000 for this city, etc.

I think you need to look up the utility for your specific city.

I googled Richardson and 'watering restrictions' and came back with this:

Richardson Water Restrictions - NBC Dallas-Fort Worth

Should work for any other city.

I got 2 very different answers googling Plano. One news article from 2011 that says $150, and a official press release from 2006 that says $2000.
