I just found out about the Stanley Korshack Department Store in Uptown. I had no idea that we had another local luxury department store.

I found this off the internet

(This picture isn't mine. I found this picture on the Dallas Uptown Guide website)

From Dallas Uptown Guide

"Stanley Korshak is the crème de la crème of Dallas retailers. Situated in a grand, three-story building (resembling a Parisian hôtel particulier), this high-end department store carries men’s and women’s clothing lines, handbags, shoes, cosmetics and even features a hair salon and bridal boutique. From D Magazine

"This terribly chic department store is independently owned by the Brock family, but there is nothing underground about the caliber of designer lines that make Stanley Korshak one of the top shops in the country. The set-up in Crescent Court is a little unexpected; the store is centered around a courtyard and fountain, so parts of it can only be accessed if you walk outside the main building. Moderator cut: length too long ."

This is from the Stanley Korshack website

"Located in the heart of uptown Dallas, Stanley Korshak is one of the country's finest specialty department stores, featuring the very best clothing and accessories for men and women plus jewelry, cosmetics, gifts, home, bridal and more. "

It's not new. Been in the Crescent for, what, 20-25 years now. They had a second store in Chicago at one point but closed it.

You didn't know about it? You can self park and walk around... the grounds are very nice. You can go over to the Starbucks in the Crescent and enjoy the ambience, sit back in the hotel courtyard, or eat at Arcodoro Pomadoro or Palomino. You should check it out.
