Looking to get an electric stovetop changed out for gas. The home has a gas fireplace and gas heater so I'm hoping it won't be incredibly expensive.

Any recommendations or ideas on cost?

It depends on where the closest gas line is to where the stove is located. I had one done years ago where the stove was on the island and they had to rip the tile and bring the line in from the opposite side of the kitchen from the outside. Then had to replace all the tile in the kitchen to match. It was a pretty expensive job at 5K.

Whatever you do, get at least 2 quotes.

Send me a DM. I have a great gas plumber who did a bunch of work for me last year.

It will really depend on where the existing gas line is and how far they have to run it.
