I noticed one is opening in Plano off Park and the tollway. I live really close to there. I looked at their website and saw they serve burgers and tacos. Is it any good?

We've got 'em up here in Denver. They're ok. I'd say the Tex-Mex is on par with Taco Bueno.

I'm on the Anna, TX forum. When a poster said Del Taco was coming to DFW there were a lot of folks who had moved from other areas of the country shouting "hurray!". So it might be good, at least worth a try.

I used to get their green burrito a lot. It's a good bean burrito with (obviously) green sauce. They have a red burrito too. It's better than Taco Bueno or Bell. Not sure about the rest of the Mexican food.

I never liked the burgers/fries.

For those of you from the Dallas area, do you remember when we had Del Taco back in the 1980's? I recall at least two in the North Dallas area, one in Carrollton off Beltine and Josey. This must have been in the mid 80's.

There is one in McKinney that should be open by now. Del Taco is great late night food (aka drunk food). Their breakfast isn't half bad either.

They have pretty good krinkle fries and their regular cheap tacos aren't half bad. I prefer them to tacobell and they taste similar to Taco Cabana.

Drunk and hungover were the only times I used to eat del taco. I'm just being honest lol. It's nothing spectacular but it is nice having them here. They're inexpensive and it's tasty enough. Plus they have breakfast which I appreciate. Don't expect it to get all in n out at store openings.
