We're looking at two distinctly different areas to commute to Irving/Las Colinas. I need actual commute times around 7 am and 5 pm.

from The Colony

from Hurst-Euless-Bedford

Thanks!

To get an idea of where tieups might be consistent keep an eye on the traffic via the internet several times. Try wfaa.com and nbc5i.com for starters. They give a pretty accurate time for some of the backups.

Thanks. I think my post is not clear...I don't need "real time" as in I need to see it live, I actually need "actual time" of commute. What's the commute by a normal Joe kind of thing.

HEB via Highway 183/161 at 7:00a should be about :30-:45 (min-max). Not sure about The Colony.

The key variable with commuting from The Colony is how quickly you can get on 121. From there, there are several alternative ways to get to Las Colinas in about 30 minutes.

I can get to Hwy 121 in 5 minutes, but if I lived on the northern side of The Colony, it might take 30 minutes just to get to 121. That would double the overall commute time.
