I had been on the Dart website 20+ times and missed that. Thanks.

I still do not understand why go the coupon way? Why not pay in cash? Last time around, I came back home with a coupon or two; they were not enough to pay for anything and I am not sure if I could actually get a refund on them. Cash would be far more convenient.

Last year, we also took the Dart to get to the Fair Park. Very convenient during the day though the return might get a bit too packed for comfort, especially if you try to leave right after the fireworks.

Hand your extra coupons to somebody just entering the fair. It's good karma.

This allows the vendors to not have to stock cash in their booths, which is a risk management issue. Carrying a bucket of used coupons is easy. Carrying a bucket of cash is dangerous. Most, if not all, large festivals and fairs use coupons for that reason.

I guessed as much. Still, there should be a more elegant way of working around this...maybe one of those pre-paid cards with the magnetic strip on them. But in that case I guess the vendors would have to install readers on their end which will be impractical.

@Debsi: LOL! I would next time.
