There are plenty of places to park at DFW. The outer lots which then shuttle you to your gate, or you can park at the gate in the parking garage. Just depends on how much you want to spend per day.

I am not sure how much it costs to park there per day. Can you (or anyone else) give me a low down on places which offer such facilities to park and how much they cost ?
Also are those shuttle to and fro the parking spot run 24x7 ??
I am asking this because when returning my flight lands at 2 AM in the morning so just curious (concerned ??).

I usually park right at the terminal. It's $18/day.

There is definitely cheaper parking in the "remote" fields. It's less than $10/day, I think. The shuttles should run as long as flights are still landing, but they do run less frequently (maybe every 15-20 minute instead of every 3-5 minutes) late at night.

We've used Park N Fly North the last couple of times we've had several day trips. Been pretty happy. I think it's $9 for uncovered and $11 for covered.

Or last flight got in somewhere around 2AM (and can I just say the airport is creepy at that time of night?) They don't run the shuttle on a loop like they do during busy hours, but we called and they sent someone right over. I'd probably call as soon as the luggage starts dropping to give them enough time. The nice part is they'll wait since they don't have anywhere else to get to that time of night.

The Parking Spot has decent parking and this website hooks you up with airport hotels--you take their shuttle to the airport. Never used it myself, though...

There are definitely better deals than $18/day, just less convenient

Or, you could use the SuperShuttle car or van again, to pick you up, deliver you directly to your terminal and back home again when you return. Just be sure to make roundtrip reservations. This is definitely the most convenient vs. parking at the airport, and allows you to leave your car at home.

You'll need to weigh the cost of parking vs. the cost of using the
SuperShuttle for a roundtrip to/from the airport, though. For any lengthy trip, it's usually cheaper to use the SuperShuttle car or van, so pull your calculator out and start running the numbers.

^^I will surely check this. And yes keep car at home feels more comfortable than at an unknown parking location.

I like the Parking Spot, haven't tried Park'n'Fly. DFW remote parking is also fine.

It's much nicer to land and get shuttled to your car than wait forever for a Supershuttle willing to pick you up. DH and I tried Supershuttle 3-4 times, and even when we arrived home to DFW after midnight it found 2 other parties to carry (they carry up to 3 at a time, and drivers make more money on a full load, they will keep driving around every terminal until they get it). At night we had a lot of trouble getting a shuttle to even pick us up. They drove round and round past us but it seemed all of them were wanting to go to Ft Worth or anywhere other than north of Dallas. For two people traveling a week or less, parking is also cheaper than shuttling.

We've used the Parking Spot and the airport remote locations. Last time we used the airport lot, we were gone for 2 weeks, with no problems at all. I don't remember what we paid, but I think you can go on the airports website and find a link to all the parking options the airport offers along with the daily rates.
