Alright, so I got a job at BNSF (2650 Lou Menk Drive, Fort Worth, TX). It is in North Forth Worth/ Saginaw Area. My husband got a job in the Richardson area.

I have a 9th grader and a 2nd grader.

We are Asian Indian, so we want to be in a city with a good number of Asians.

So can someone tell us good cities to live in between the two areas. I looked at Irving, Grapevine, Copell, and Euless. My husband doesn't mind driving as much, but I don't want to drive too far to get to BNSF.

Please help, and and advice is really appreciated.

Thanks

I already posted this in the Fort Worth section, but I want to hear from Dallas too.

Those two areas are about as far apart in DFW as possible! BNSF is a great company to work for, and jobs there are not easy to come by. Honestly, if your husband could start the Richardson job (knowing that he's going to have a horrible commute) and keep looking for a job closer to Fort Worth, that would be the best plan. The area with most Asian Indians is Valley Ranch (northern part of Irving) but that is going to be an awful commute to BNSF. Coppell won't be much better. Euless will be a little better drive to BNSF (you can take Mid-Cities Blvd all the way west), but it's goign to be really long for him.

What's your housing budget? Buying or renting?
