I recently purchased a car. Still haven't received the plates/registration sticker. Dealer has put on the temporary plate on the back.

Now I have a driving test for DL scheduled. The book says that the car should have both the licesnse plates to give the exam along with the registration sticker.

Would it be possible to give the test in the car?

When my son took his driving test last summer, the first thing they did was look to see if the front AND the license plates were on the car before they even got in the car to test. If he had not had his front license plate, he would not have tested. So I'm thinking no ... I would call the Waxahachie office (they are very nice & helpful) and ask what to do with a new car.

Thanks.
I actually managed to get out of work early and got into DMV right before they were closing.
They told me it was fine if I have the buyer's plate in the back of the car.
