I wanna have a tour of public school before I choose the school I will send my daughter to. But I cannot find any open house for public from public school. What should I do?
Thanks for your input.

Just call the school and ask for a tour

Exactly what TXBound said. Also it is usually worth finding out when a PTA meeting is and attending that. It gives you a chance to see what the parental involvement is like, and to see what the relationship is between the principal and the parents. Is he/she receptive to questions from parents, or is it run in a more top down dictatorial manner? What are the parents like? What projects are on the horizon? Much can be gained from attending one of these meetings.

most schools have web sites that give links to teachers' websites
many of them post their class schedules so you can see that some teachers are comfortable and use their webpages to post info
some teachers don't--just depends--
it can be very time consuming depending on the software that is used for the webpages
some teachers are still not comfortable with technology

HEB ISD is starting program where each elementary school in district will have web page
==the high schools and jr highs are pretty good about theirs==the elementary schools vary--lot depends on the principal/vp and teachers
but HEB has always been pretty pro-active with technology

call the counseling office for school you anticipate moving into the zone
they usually have some rules/regs to follow
some teachers dont' like it

Name the school name on here, and folks will tend to be real open -- good or bad about it.

I'm a Lakeside parent. We've been very happy with the school and our child's teacher. I think all of the elementary schools in Coppell are good and pretty similar. The only one that may be slightly different is Valley Ranch Elementary since it's in Irving and not Coppell which means it may have a few apartments that are in its attendance zone. However, I know someone that has kids in Valley Ranch Elementary and they have had a great experience too.

Please know that Wilson Elementary is located across the street from a trailer park so that creats some issues not every one is equipped to handle.
