Thinking of staying near the Shops at Legacy... Need suggestions on where to have a romantic anniversary dinner..Doesn't have to be IN the "shops". (can be)..but somewhere near there.
Looking for somewhere with nice romantic atmosphere that serves a good steak..Husband doesn't usually like to venture into food that is too fussy..Thanks in advance!

***Also, if you have a nice hotel suggestion somewhere in/between Plano and Addison..Thanks~

Bob's chophouse is a top flight steak house located in the shops at Legacy. Capital Grill is also there, another top flight steak house as well. Jaspers is a nice much more casual place in the Shops as well.

Sounds like a fun occasion! Mignon is another steak place it is down on Preston just south of Spring Creek so maybe 3-4 miles from the shops at Legacy. Steve Fields is another steak house that is good it is further south of legacy than Mignon, it is on Park near Preston.

I havent been in Plano long enough to try more restaurants than these although there a number more that might work.

Ok thanks...I think Capital Grill looks good from those you've listed as far as ambiance, a great steak, etc...

We had gone to Bob's Chop House in Dallas many years ago on a previous anniversary interestingly enough..

I should add....I like a restaurant where you feel like you have some privacy..I'm not a fan of sitting at a table in a big open room with a bunch of other people.
We used to have a restaurant here in which the booths and tables had candles and were arranged and partitioned off with curtains or partial walls etc in such a way that it was very romantic and private...Miss that...

Del Frisco's is another great one. Right off the tollway and Spring Valley. They have private booths surrounded by curtains but you need a reservation for those spots if that is important to you.

I love Mignon for the food but the seating is not intimate.
