hey , i'm living in south carolina and i want moving to dallas cause here the job just in the summer , so can I get a job over there any jobs no problem with me .and what are about the rent can I get a rent by 400 dollars ?. thank you

I am not sure you could find a place for $400 month. You might check craigslist to rent a room. Good luck.

That price would likely be a place in a very bad area. You might be able to rent a room from somebody but jobs are not easy to come by. Everyone and his cousin thinks Dallas is the spot to be and competition for jobs is fierce, especially for entry level/minimum wage jobs.

Also Dallas is HUGE, it's bigger than some states, so you need to know where the job will be before you find a place. You could stay in one of those extended stay motels while you look.

Minimum wage is $7.25. There is no state income tax. The sales tax is 8.25%

Overtime is a federal law. If you work over 40 hours a week, you will be paid overtime. I will say that employers don't often let you work overtime.
