Hi,
Unfortunately I have a host of medical problems, and am looking for suggetions for a multitude of docs....I would like ones that are "up to date" on new developments, and ideally are linked to a university hospital (not a sticking point, though). Mainly need someone compassionate and easy to talk to. I live in Allen but am willing to drive for great doctors. Here's my wishlist:

Internist
Pediatrician
Gyno
Rheumatologist
Cardiologist
Gastroentologist
Neurologist
Dermatologist
Osto (bone doc - I have a broken foot)
Dentist
Pediatric Dentist

Any suggestion would help.
Thanks,
Returning Texas

Gyno : Dr. Berry Fleming - 3108 Midway Rd Plano, TX 75093 972-473-2020

He has a policy about always being on-time to appointments - and he delivers babies for a living! He's awesome, and he's never been late yet.
Also, when I was diagnosed with Grave's Disease (an auto-immune endocrine disorder), he knew more about it than my GP, who I am not recommending.

Dermatologist -- Dr James Herndon. He's head of dermatology at Presbyterian Dallas. I really like him a lot too. 214-739-5821
Unfortunately I often have to wait for him!

My girlfriend goes to him and she can't recommend him enough, just FYI. Her skin is FABULOUS.

Dr Fleming is the best - he not only assist me with my female wellness but he also assisted me with my eczema
For Osto - Dr Wheeless @ Metrocrest Orthopaedics & Sprots Medicine, 4780 Josey Lane, Carrollton, TX 75010 972-492-1334. I had a torn liagament in my knee from falling in the bathtub and I had surgery on it on Thursday June 7, 2007 and was back at work on Monday.

Baylor hospital is one of the best in Dallas.

My OB for 15 years is
Dr. Julian Carter
214-824-2563

He's always rated as a top doctor by his peers as well as by his patients. He is amazing, and he delivered both of my children. I had major complications with my first, and he was unbelievably calm and did a fantastic job under pressure.

I found a good internal medicine doctor - although he is young, he is smart, stays current, and spends time with you:

Isaac Pugach, M.D.,

I would recommend Dr. Robert Cheatum for Rheumatologist. He is one of the best in the country. He is located at Presbyterian Hospital area. For pain, orthopedics and Physiatry.... the best is TARPON PA in Plano, Carrollton and Medical City Hospital. Look for Dr. Lewis Frazier...he is terrific and has helped me alot. Just my two cents.
