2 things....

1) Equinox has too many trainers! Almost as if they work there just to have a free membership.

2) I've never seen trainers workout at peak hours. A huge no no.

1. Any gym that is close proves through research to be the best so long as the experience is meeting your standards.
2. Cooper has the best history and hands down the best trainers (not just weekend certified trainers like most gyms but individuals that have made biomechanics and physiology their career with a minimum of a bachelor's degree and most with a master's or phd), best group exercise instructors that bring results, now becoming family friendly with great programming and events for families, teens and youth, great camps, awesome bootcamp that are driven by science not just running your body ragged, and the wholistic approach with nutrition and lifestyle
3. Cooper is like a country club with their grounds and their level of customer service

Cooper is great. Also, several of the YMCAs throughout Dallas are pretty credited as well (townnorth, Park Cities, Lake Highlands).

I have heard Cooper was sold off in the Craigs Ranch location and is now subpar (for the brand). Anyone with personal experience? We are looking for a more convenient option to Lifetime in Allen.

Lifetime is great for families, Equinox is great for d-bags, Cooper is great for people who want to avoid both of those, IMO.
