I'm moving to the Plano area very soon to work for HP. How is the area? I am looking for recoomendations for a nice 1 BR apartment. What are some good apartments that are in the area. It needs to be within a 5 miles radius from HP.

That area is a great one for living and for work. Its like a small downtown area with great restaurant and night life options for the suburbs. Dart runs no where near it, cities like DFW on a big open plain with no natural barriers is hard to a fixed rail line to serve as the living options and jobs continually move and the rails dont.

If you'll work at HP I'd seriously consider just shacking up at the shops at Legacy, as it's just down the street.
