Choosing to live in Tarrant County will mean lower car insurance rates.

The apartments at the north end of Grapevine Mills Mall are nice and fairly new. They do get some airplane noise, so stand outside for a while and make sure you are ok with that. Grapevine is a great place to live, and if you need more info, just ask!

Addison would be good for the nightlife, but the commute would not be good. 635 is unrgoing major reconstruction and the only alternative is surface streets with school zones.

Wow! Thank you all so much! I am liking this city already. So welcoming I'll definitely be checking all those locations. We're hoping to get there to explore a little bit as soon as possible.

justme02: He is from Indiana and I'm from Atlanta, Georgia. We'll both be making our new home pretty far from our original ones!

Tips?

#1 -- ONLY rent. Do not even consider buying.

#2 -- Get so close to the job that he does not even need a car/commute. Cars+Commute = Lower quality of life around here, as well as extra expense.

Hello HeidiAlise,

I came across your post as I was submitting my own. I find myself in your exact situation. Hopefully by now, you are enjoying Newlywed life and settled into the Big D! I would greatly appreciate any suggestions or advice you have. His company would like him there by late April or early May. I will join him in a few months as I have a contract to fullfill until June. Thanks in advance
