Hi. We have really started looking for our new home in the Dallas area. Can anyone tell me about the Meadow Hill Estates? It loos like it is close to the warren sports complex?

Thank you in advance.

Meadow Hill is not a good choice for Frisco in my opinion. A colleague just sold their home in Meadow Hill, but seemes to have loved living there for the past 5 years. He ended up selling to move to a gated community (Crestview) in Prosper. Meadow Hill is right near Costco and the new gun range (going to be one of the largest in the country) being built on Eldorado. Easy access to the tollway and Preston Rd...

I'm considering buying in meadow hill. Any particular reason why you would not recommend it? Thanks.

While it is close to the park, be aware that depending on where the house is located, you could have people going to the park parking in front of your house. The park gets packed on the weekends. I've heard this complaint from several people. The street is public, so that means anyone can park in front of your house, including blocking your mailbox.

Also there are train tracks that are very close to the neighborhood. I know that the trains aren't supposed to sound their horns all the time like they used to, but I think they still do on occasion. So keep that in mind.

It's nice that the neighborhood is so close to DNT and Preston, though. But at the same time there are so many other nice, affordable neighborhoods in Frisco.
