I got a KIA flyer in the mail today that has a fake key on it saying register to win a bran new Kia and also a Scratch and Win instantly for a gold coin, 25,000 dollars or a kia soul

Well I scratched it and it give the same picture of car on the scratched image so based on that says I won but I am not a gullible person at all so any experiences from this ??

Or this some type of ploy to get you to come to their dealership?

Of course it is. Just like the time shares and "presentation" only for golf getaways. There is always a catch. It usually just qualifies you to be in a pool to win prizes one of which is a car. But they get you down there and your information and you get to get the hard press for a...KIA.

If it sounds like a scam, it is.

Don't you hate people who can't shoot straight with you.

My girlfriend signed up for one of those cars you see at a mall once. She got a letter that said "You didn't win the car, but you did win $1500!! - just call this # for information on how to claim your prize" - so she did, and they wanted her to drive out to somewhere in south Texas for a two-day presentation about this timeshare opportunity thing. She insisted that they would give her $1500 for going, but eventually I got her to calm down enough to realize what she was saying.

scam

sw kia does this kinda crap all the time

"I'm just gonna give it to you"

Come on folks, don't you know anything they advertise is bull? How naive are you? Grow up!

Holy moly, do everyone of you need maturity lessons?

SW Kia can do what they want in advertising as long as they don't violate some kind of FAA and FTC rules. They suck in folks with horrible credit who don't know how to buy a car. It's just above a buy here pay here place. Sorry Bill Dickenson but I've been watching your ads for years and you're not a good person in my opinion.

It only says you're a winner if they match. It leads you to believe you've won a car....trust me I scratched mine off yesterday and when they matched I startedngoing over that flyer with a fine tooth comb. You "win" the chance to get sucked into the dealership for nothing.
