And you should do the thing that all the Europeans do when they're in LA, Miami, or Texas: rent a convertible!

Nah, they mess up my hair I'm thinking an Escalade or one of those huge tank like cars instead which are impossible to drive in this country as the roads are so tiny!

True enough, but I've met many a European who insisted on getting a convertible.

Agree w/ Double-G...SUNSCREEN! Find the best you can, and then double that!! Hopefully we get the "normal" or even "mild" winter this year, which is temps in the high 90's low 100's, to mid-high 90's. if we're lucky. But either way, the sun will be out, and you will pay if you have fair skin.

Fair warning!

Hum...I would look into something a little more practical and easier to maneuver. Texas is a large state and in most cases has very wide roads but this isn't he case wih larger metro cities like Dallas. A lot of the parking spots are designed for Hondas and Hybrid compact cars. I drive a wider than normal truck (Baja truck) and almost always have to park out away from everyone else when staying at our Dallas residence. Includin parking on the top floor of our parking garage since hardly anyone parks that high. Now back home in West Texas, it's not an issue.

So anyhow, I would consider something like a Mid - Full size car.

I wear them also -- no need to subject the population to my ghostly legs...besides, I'm not really a 'shorts person'. I wear long-sleeve dress shirts most of the summer as well! Then again, I am a native and summer does not really bother me - I like it...

What stan4 said! However if the weather should turn sunnyside up, storms and rain it will probably only last a very short period of time like an hour or two then it will be smoltering hot.

enjoy!
