Tickets all booked and I'm excited and nervous! I am coming for a week to check a few areas out myself, I'm really hoping I like it

What's the weather like out there in June? Just so I know what to pack. I don't trust weather reports x

Since you're coming from London, it's probably going to seem even hotter than it really is. But, yeah, get ready for warmth though it doesn't generally get really bad until July-August.

Sounds good! Wow, short sleeved clothing... Hardly get to wear anything short sleeved living in London. I think I'm going to enjoy Dallas very much indeed

You won't want jeans in June. Way too hot for those. Capri length pants, maybe, but definitely Bermudas and shorts.

Remember: light colored clothing, preferably natural fiber, will keep you much cooler.

Haha...I'm generally the only one walking around Dallas in June wearing Jeans.

Anyhow, if you're not used to warmer climates, then yes, I would pack plenty of shorts and short dresses etc. I would also buy clothing made of light and breathable material...searsucker or linen for example. That and buy a hat and some shades.

Anything else, just ask.

And sunscreen and a hat!

It's really not THAT hot except when it is.
