Even though I live east of Plano, I will be going to Ft. Worth next week to shop at TJ's. We ran out of maple syrup today and need more. We stopped in Kansa City last summer after a family wedding up north and loaded up on maple syrup and triple ginger ginger snaps, among other goodies.

I'll pack a cooler since I've never tried their frozen foods before. We've always been traveling and never felt comfortable keeping things frozen for the full day or two drive home.

I was at Preston and Park on Saturday and TJ still looks nowhere near ready. Ulta has an 'opening soon' sign up and the Old Navy looks like it's ready to rumble if it's not open already. I have no idea if it is or not.

Old navy has been open for 2 weeks now. The other one on the other side of the street has closed.

Trader joes opening will depend upon how far along the interior is from being finished. They could finish up the exterior in a few days in my view.

I really want to hit up the Fort Worth store next week but I'm afraid it is going to be a madhouse a la In N Out on its first day. It might not be worth it.

Yeah I would definitely hold off for at least the first two weeks. Or if you're going to go, wait til some off-peak time like mid-day on a Wednesday. TJ is great but I don't get why so many people feel this overriding need to try and wedge their way in on the very first day it's open.

I dunno. I didn't get the In N Out hype and I don't get this. I guess you have to be from the west coast.
