Chick Fil A is a bit pricey to me and I don't feel like its quality chicken.. but lets be real you cant really put quality in the same sentance as fast food. Cane's chicken is much better quality than chick fil a.

Chicken Express is AWESOME for fried catfish. For chicken, it and Cane's are just meh... I'd rather get chicken tenders from T.G.I. Friday's. At least the coating has some flavor.

Tried Cane's for the first time this week and liked it much better than Chick-fil-a which has been a staple for years, mainly because of the play area and drive thru.

We'll keep going to Cane's, it's super convenient and the kiddos like but don't know that I would drive 20 minutes to go to one - unlike Bubba's in Snyder Plaza which is the best fried chicken (imo). Their mashed potatoes are so yummy, love their banana pudding and honey mustard dipping sauce (and they have a drive through!). There is a slightly fancier version of it in Old Carrollton called Babe's.

Not sure what your occupation is, but if you need any energy after lunch, I'd advise against Cane's. Sure, there's protein with the chicken, but Cane's is sure to leave you in a carb coma! Must be the bread and fries.

I agree. I'm not sure whats so good about Chicken Express; but I found it to be pretty bland. Golden Chick is overpriced. Canes is just chicken strips. When it comes to chicken in DFW, I usually go to Cowboy Chicken for rotisserie because they have good sides. If I want fried, I stick with Popeyes because Williams, Chicken Express, etc just don't do it for me. They might as well be Churches.

pollo regio makes the best chicken. Most people wont go there because the hardly speak English in those places but the taste is awesomeness! And the mexican sides are fantastic too. Plus its a lot healthier than fried chicken. I think the flavor at pollo regio is much better than cowboy chicken.

Carb coma? Good grief.....not everyone is afraid of carbs. Good old fried chicken is comfort food and no comas here. As long as it's done in moderation, no harm, no foul (pun intended).

You got that I'm "afraid" of carbs simply because I used the term "carb coma?" You jumped to the extreme. I need to be productive after lunch, and a box of fried chicken, bread, and fries doesn't cut it for me. It makes me slow and tired. Yes, everything in moderation, but time it well, too. Doesn't take much to figure that out.

"Cane's is sure to leave you in a carb coma". It's what you said. It's silly and doesn't apply to everyone. Period.
