I've got a whirlpool washing machine that is not working. When I search online I'm not finding any "authorized factory repair" options, just several companies that work on all brands. I hate to blindly pick one so if anyone could share any recommendations or feedback (good or bad) for any providers I would appreciate it.

Not what area you live in but we adore our quirky Jesse from Jesse's Appliance and A/C. He has fixed my washer twice and refrigerator once. Plus my a/c a few times. He is based out of Casa Linda in Dallas.

Buxton's Appliance Repair out of Fort Worth does really good work. I've used them on a warranty repair on my refrigerator and a fill sensor problem on my washer and I was very satisfied.

You can also call a local dealer (Gold Star, Texas Appliance) and ask for a recommendation. If nothing else, they can provide you with the Whirlpool number who can take care of you from there.
