I live in Rolling Ridge Community(Murphy) and I have been using Farmers ever since I moved in 2012. The price per Kwh was fine then. But now, I know many companies offer about 6 or less cents a KW while Farmers is still charging almost 12 cent a kWh. I think I really need to change them to save some good $$. Anyone is Rolling Ridge using a company other than Farmers Coop?

You will not be able to change, unfortunately. I'm hating my coop currently as well.

That's strange and stupid. This is 2015, not 1950 and Murphy/Wylie aren't small rural towns anymore where you are happy that at least you have access to electricity.

I can get 6 to 7 cents per kWH at powertochoose (Including oncor fee) but apparently I am stuck with farmers for more than 11 cents per kWH. Farmers is supposed to be a non-profit. Wonder where the additional profits go..
